Palazzo Garden Restaurant
Where heritage architecture blooms into botanical luxury
The Project
This Schedule 2 heritage property – Luna Restaurant at the 18th-century Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar, Malta – demanded a delicate balance between preserving palatial grandeur and creating a contemporary dining destination.
Working alongside Italian Architect Antonio Girardi, we transformed the Palazzo Parisio restaurant into a botanical sanctuary that brings the property’s renowned gardens indoors. Hand-painted murals bloom across feature walls whilst restored original marble floors ground the space in history.
The design weaves pale green tones, custom furnishings and living plants throughout, creating an impressionist garden that extends from dining room to conference spaces – all illuminated by bespoke Italian lighting that shifts intensity with the day’s rhythms.
